COMBINED LEARNING ARTIFACT
This report reflects on a collection of learning artefacts gathered during my first school placement through the lens of my practice as an artist-teacher-researcher.
The purpose of collecting and analysing these artefacts is to further develop a reflective and research-informed teaching practice. Through the careful examination of planning, teaching, learning, and assessment, this process supports a deeper understanding of classroom experiences and the ways in which they can inform future practice.
Engaging with the cyclical process of planning, acting, evaluating, and improving has encouraged ongoing reflection and adaptation within my teaching. The use of Brookfield’s reflective model has supported this inquiry from multiple perspectives, allowing for more critical engagement with both successes and challenges encountered throughout placement. In turn, this reflective process has informed meaningful actions and improvements within my developing teaching practice.
